THE RESEARCH
Volunteers have worked with Dr. Simon Harris, a medieval historian, to investigate further information about Whitle and its links to the surrounding area. Simon has helped us to access records including wills, manorial court rolls and parish registers of births, marriages and deaths. This has helped us to create a detailed chronological record of Whitle, to help us interpret the findings from the archaeological survey and excavation.
