What the Pollen Tells Us About Medieval Farming in the Moorlands
Presented by members of the Tudor Farming Interpretation Group
Wednesday 2nd April 2025 at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm)
Warslow Village Hall, SK17 0JL
The presentation will be given by members of the Tudor Farming Interpretation Group (TFIG), a Community Archaeology Group who have been investigating the site at Under Whitle Farm near Sheen, for more than 10 years. The talk will show how archaeology and science can shed light on the local Staffordshire environment more than a thousand years ago. We also hope to introduce some of the families who lived and worked at Under Whitle.
Doors will open at 7pm to give you time to have a drink, a cake and a chat! No need to book – just turn up. Entrance is just £4 including refreshments.
